About DietApp.com's GLP-1 Knowledge Base: Our Editorial Standards
RES-000007
DietApp.com maintains a GLP-1 knowledge base covering medications, symptoms, conditions, clinical trials, insurance guidance, and honest reviews of the broader GLP-1 telehealth and supplement landscape. This page explains the standard every piece of content on this site is held to.
What Every Medical Claim Is Sourced To
Every factual claim about a medication, symptom, mechanism, or trial result traces to one of three source types: official FDA prescribing information and drug safety communications, peer-reviewed research published in recognized medical journals, or named clinical trial data (STEP, SURMOUNT, SELECT, and others, each covered in detail in our clinical trials library). We do not publish claims we cannot trace to a real, checkable source.
How We Handle Company and Product Reviews
When we review a telehealth provider or a supplement marketed with GLP-1 language, we research each one individually rather than applying a template. Some companies receive genuinely favorable coverage when the evidence supports it; others receive real, specific caution, documented FDA warning letters, specific complaint patterns, or unsubstantiated efficacy claims, when the evidence supports that instead. We do not fabricate star ratings, download counts, or user testimonials, for DietApp.com or for any company we cover.
Freshness and Review Dates
GLP-1 medicine is a fast-moving field, new approvals, discontinuations, label updates, and clinical guidance changes regularly. Medication and clinical evidence pages include a "last medically reviewed" date, and we revisit high-change-risk topics (insurance coverage, newly approved medications, evolving safety data) as new, credible information becomes available, rather than leaving pages static indefinitely.
What We Won't Do
We don't publish content naming a specific company in connection with fraud or review manipulation allegations, even when sourced from a real regulatory action, a deliberate editorial choice, not an oversight. We don't cover general "research peptide," cosmetic, or biohacking content outside the GLP-1 medication space, to keep this knowledge base focused and genuinely authoritative in its actual area of expertise, rather than broad and shallow. And we don't present investigational, non-FDA-approved medications as though they were available or equivalent to approved treatments.
